 A notable incident on May 9, 2023, saw a crackdown against PTI, resulting in the arrest of over 13,000 party workers and leaders. It was hoped that by May 9, 2024, the establishment would offer amnesty for these incidents and drop all charges, moving Pakistan towards a brighter future. Yet, driven by an unspoken vendetta against Khan, the military has continued its punitive approach. 

Workers and Leaders Faced Physical and Mental Torture 

The detained workers faced torture, and their families were subjected to harassment, a clear violation of human rights. The crackdown extended to damaging homes and mentally tormenting women and children, treating Pakistani citizens as if they were prisoners of war.

Pakistan on the Path Way Towards Instability

This situation has propelled Pakistan towards chaos and instability. The election on February 8, 2024, which saw widespread support for Khan and PTI, was marred by allegations of vote theft and manipulation.
